I am a Certified Perioperative Nurse with over a decade of experience across New York City’s leading hospitals. After earning my nursing degree from New York University, I have provided care at every stage of the surgical journey—now with a focused dedication to helping cancer patients receive timely, compassionate, and expert treatment.
My passion for patient advocacy deepened when I became a patient myself, navigating a cancer diagnosis. That personal experience underscored the critical importance of clear communication, empathy, and accessible information—especially during life-changing diagnoses. It drives my commitment to improving the patient experience and aligns closely with Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center’s mission of delivering world-class cancer care.
In my current role at MSK, I bring a holistic, evidence-based approach to perioperative care—integrating clinical expertise with wellness practices as a certified yoga instructor. As a member of the Intra-Operative Practice Council, I contribute to shaping policy and protocol rooted in the latest research. I am also committed to advancing nursing education: previously developed orientation handbooks and clinical reference guides to support new nurses to the surgical specialty, ensuring continuity, safety, and confidence in practice.
As a nurse in the media, I hope to expand my advocacy beyond the operating room. I believe that nurses are trusted messengers in healthcare, especially in a time of widespread misinformation. I aim to share accurate, compassionate, and empowering knowledge through trusted media channels—helping patients and communities feel informed, safe, and supported as they navigate their health journeys.
