I am the Laboratory Manager in Dr. Daniel Heller’s lab. I earned my Ph.D. from the University of Pécs. Then I continued my academic career as a postdoctoral research scientist at Columbia University, where I was promoted to Associate Research Scientist in 2015. During my time at Columbia, I conducted preclinical in vitro and in vivo testing of novel small molecules targeting Stargardt disease and age-related macular degeneration. In addition to my research responsibilities, I also managed the lab’s finances, administrative tasks, and overall lab operations.
