Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) is accepting applications for the 2025 Cohort of the MSK Innovation Hub (iHub) Challenge program. Digital health companies with innovations leveraging AI to address critical issues in the drug discovery process are encouraged to apply.

“We’re excited to announce the launch of the 2025 Cohort of the MSK iHub Challenge program, with a focus on companies that are applying AI in the early stages of innovating new cancer treatments,” announced Rick Peng, MBA, iHub Manager and Digital Licensing Professional in the Office of Entrepreneurship and Commercialization at MSK. “We look forward to providing access to research expertise and private clinical datasets to guide the development of impactful collaborations.”

Initially launched in 2024, the MSK iHub Challenge is a yearly program that welcomes a cohort of digital healthcare companies focused on strategic themes identified by MSK’s clinical and digital health experts as areas of need and opportunity within the global healthcare sector. The program is an expansion of MSK iHub, a successful digital health accelerator that unites healthcare technology innovators, clinicians, and researchers in collaborations to create solutions that advance cancer treatment and prevention.

This year, MSK welcomes iHub Challenge submissions across all areas of AI-driven drug discovery processes, including but not limited to:

  • target discovery and validation,
  • lead identification and design,
  • predictive modeling and optimization,
  • drug safety and translational efficacy, and
  • early-stage clinical trials.

Successful applicants will be invited to join the MSK iHub Challenge program, through which they will receive access to exclusive, deidentified data, direct mentoring from top MSK experts, networking opportunities with MSK stakeholders, and dedicated support from the iHub Core team for three months.

At the conclusion of the Cohort session, select participants may be invited to join the MSK Innovation Hub, based on project proposals developed during the iHub Challenge.

Rick Peng advises potential applicants, “Bring your algorithms, your creativity, and your vision. We’ll provide the expertise, data, and stage to accelerate and amplify your impact.
