Get to Know Me

I am a board-certified, fellowship-trained doctor trained in nuclear medicine, a specialty within radiology that uses radioactive substances to diagnose and treat cancer and other diseases. I have extensive experience in all fields of nuclear medicine and molecular imaging, a type of medical imaging that focuses on imaging at the molecular and cellular level which can help better diagnose and treat some types of cancer

I am experienced in interpreting all types of positron emission tomography–computed tomography (PET-CT) scans using the latest technology. This includes:

  • PET-CT scans that use different radioactive tracers that help detect cancer.
  • Prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA) PET scan, a type of scan that can help diagnose metastatic or advanced prostate cancer.
  • Beta Amyloid PET-CT scan, a type of imaging that can detect high levels of the beta amyloid protein, or plaque, in the brain.

Throughout my career, I have gained the trust of doctors in various specialties by providing timely and accurate information on patients’ screening, diagnosis, and follow-up. I also provide guidance and support through direct communication and participate in tumor boards where a group of cancer specialists come together to discuss diagnosis and treatment options for individual patients or to share knowledge.

Members of the MSK Community often work with pharmaceutical, device, biotechnology, and life sciences companies, and other organizations outside of MSK, to find safe and effective cancer treatments, to improve patient care, and to educate the health care community. These activities outside of MSK further our mission, provide productive collaborations, and promote the practical application of scientific discoveries.

MSK requires doctors, faculty members, and leaders to report (“disclose”) the relationships and financial interests they have with external entities. As a commitment to transparency with our community, we make that information available to the public. Not all disclosed interests and relationships present conflicts of interest.
