Who is eligible to be a part of the Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) Program?

MSK patients in active treatment ages 15-39.

What kinds of things can the AYA program help me with?

The AYA Program works in collaboration with your primary care team and specialty services to address all your needs during treatment at MSK. This includes support navigating the hospital experience, logistics around your treatment and medication, and preparing for appointments. The program can also connect you with resources including fertility, treatment side effects and management, counseling, education and vocation resources, financial support, nutrition, exercise, peer support, and chaplaincy.

When can I get access to the AYA program?

Your medical team can place a referral at any time. You can reach out to us directly at ayaprogram@Mskcc.org.

What can I expect in my first meeting with AYA staff?

A member of our team will reach out to share more about the program and identify how we can best meet your needs. You’ll have an opportunity to get to know the team and share more about your experience. You are welcome to include any members of your support system in the conversation.

What does it cost to be a part of the AYA program?

The AYA program is a part of your comprehensive care at MSK and will be billed through your insurance as needed.

Where can I meet with an AYA staff member?

AYA appointments are primarily provided by phone and telemedicine with our AYA staff.
