Victoria Blinder Awarded Funding from the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute
Victoria Blinder, MD, FASCO, medical oncologist, was awarded funding from the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) on behalf of the Alliance NCTN Foundation . The inaugural funding awards from the PCORI will support patient-centered comparative clinical effectiveness research on cancer, heart failure, asthma, migraine prevention, and more. Dr. Blinder’s funded project titled, “Longitudinal Screening for Financial Hardship to Improve Outcomes in Patients with Advanced Cancer” will assess the value of remote digital screening for financial hardship to improve patient-centered outcomes in patients with cancer.James Smithy Honored with the 2024 Young Investigator Award by the National Comprehensive Cancer Network Foundation
