Physicians and scientists from Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) will join oncology experts and members of the global cancer research community to present the latest advances in cancer discovery during the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) Annual Meeting on April 5-10 in San Diego, California.
MSK experts will present significant research and will be available to comment on topics including cancer metastasis, immunology, molecular biology and genetics, and early drug development.
- Vinod Balachandran, MD, will present updates on personalized RNA neoantigen vaccines in pancreatic cancer on Sunday, April 7, 2024, from 4:20 PM-4:30 p.m. PT.
- Luis Diaz Jr., MD, will discuss progress in monitoring residual disease (MRD) in solid tumors and how to apply them in the clinic during an educational session on Monday, April 8, 2024, from 4:45 PM-6:15 p.m. PT.
- Dana Pe’er, PhD, will highlight research that sheds new light on the ability of cancer cells to adapt and spread on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, from 8:00AM-10:00 a.m. PT.
- Jonathan Yang, MD, will present data on the safety and preliminary efficacy of AZD1390 + radiation therapy (RT) for glioblastoma (GBM) during a clinical trials minisymposium on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, from 4:05-4:15 p.m. PT.

At the 2024 AACR Annual Meeting, Selwyn M. Vickers, MD, FACS, President & CEO of MSK will be honored during a ceremony recognizing his place among 30 international leaders elected to the prestigious Fellows of the AACR Academy Class of 2024. Dr. Vickers is being recognized for his work characterizing and targeting pancreatic cancer metastasis, development of oncolytic adenoviruses capable of inhibiting pancreas tumor stem cells, and instrumental efforts to develop and evaluate the efficacy of minnelide.
