Current Research Interest

Dr. Arfè’s research interests include statistical decision theory, Bayesian analysis, and machine learning. Dr. Arfè collaborates with investigators in the Genito-Urinary Oncology Service and with members of the MSK Biomarker Development Program to study new blood-based biomarkers in metastatic Castrate-Resistant Prostate Cancer (mCRPC) based on circulating tumor cells. In his current methodological research, Dr. Arfè aims to develop new adaptive clinical trial designs based on machine learning methods. In support to his research program, he has been selected to receive Developmental Funds from the Cancer Center Support Grant.
