I am a board-certified medical physicist in the Radiotherapy Physics section of the Department of Medical Physics. I completed two master’s degrees (Applied Physics and Medical Physics) and residency training in Hospital Radiation Physics at Meixoeiro University Hospital in Vigo, Spain. After earning a Ph.D. in biomedical sciences at the Complutense University of Madrid (Cum Laude), I continued my clinical training at MSK where I completed a Residency in Therapeutic Medical Physics. I work closely with the Department of Radiation Oncology, leading the gynecological external beam radiotherapy site, and I am the deputy director of the Brachytherapy physics group. My current clinical and research focus is optimizing treatment workflows and developing new methods in both gynecological external beam radiotherapy and brachytherapy, personalizing and improving treatment outcomes.
