Assistant Attending Physicist

I am an assistant attending medical physicist with a main interest in comprehensive outcome modeling to inform and encourage individualized treatments. My research focuses on radiation dose-response modeling.  I have investigated numerous different angles of individualization such as incorporation of patient-reported outcomes, inclusion of imaging information, analytes acquired from blood, and a range of patient-specific information reflecting the disease, treatment, and an individual’s underlying characteristics. My ultimate ambition is to translate my research models into updated treatment guidelines to better tailor treatments with regards to an individual’s anticipated radiation dose tolerance. I obtained my medical physics degree from Lund University (Sweden) and completed my PhD at Aarhus University (Denmark), after which I joined the Department of Medical Physics at MSK for a postdoctoral fellowship.
