I am an associate attending physicist in the Clinical Physics Service of the Department of Medical Physics. I lead a team within the External Beam Treatment Planning Section, which plans and supports treatments for head and neck and Central Nervous System cancers. My team has expertise in designing treatments that deliver high-dose stereotactic radiosurgery to the brain and paraspinal tumors, as well as supporting an innovative adaptive head and neck program. My research interests focus on automating processes in treatment planning, using imaging to design and adapt treatment, and quantitative image analysis for predictive modeling.
I received my PhD from the University of Chicago in 2008 and was board certified in therapeutic medical physics by the American Board of Radiology in 2013. I am a member of the American Association of Physicist in Medicine, the European Society for Radiotherapy and Oncology, and the American Society for Radiation Oncology.
