I am a medical physicist whose research focuses on developing and implementing functional MRI tools for clinical applications in cancer. I am especially interested in using the vast amount of information from advanced MRI techniques to develop robust mathematical models capable of predicting tumor growth, response to cancer treatment, and transport properties within tumors. Such models could have a significant impact on how we manage cancer for individual patients.

I earned a PhD from the University of Wisconsin at Madison and was a project scientist at the University of California in San Diego before joining Memorial Sloan Kettering in 2005.
