Ever since I was young, I’ve felt drawn to helping people. These early experiences shaped how I see the world, and they planted the seed for a career in medicine.
Hi, I’m Dr. Neha Goel, a surgical oncologist with expertise in breast surgery at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. I care for people facing breast cancer, at high genetic risk, or other breast-related concerns. What drew me to this specialty was the connection with my patients—it's an honor to be able to take care of them during a difficult time.
In addition to clinical care, I conduct research on breast cancer disparities, focusing on how geographic location can influence breast cancer biology and patient outcomes. My work bridges patient care with scientific discovery, ensuring that advances in treatment reach every community.
