Get to Know Me

I am a board-certified radiologist specializing in breast imaging, including digital mammography, ultrasound, and MRI. In addition to interpreting mammograms, breast ultrasound, and breast MRI, my expertise includes minimally invasive percutaneous, image-guided breast biopsies and aspirations. I am also fellowship trained in body imaging, specifically ultrasound.
I consult with oncologists, radiation oncologists, and breast surgeons to ensure patients receive comprehensive multidisciplinary treatment following a diagnosis of breast cancer.

I have over 25 years of experience in the diagnosis of cancers through tumor diagnosis, staging, and evaluation of response to therapy. I take pride in providing compassionate care to all my patients while utilizing cutting-edge care services and technologies.

Prior to joining Memorial Sloan Kettering in 2008, I was a member of the radiology department at Stony Brook University Medical Center, where I served as Director of Ultrasound, and later as Director of Breast Imaging at the Carol M. Baldwin Breast Care Center.

Disclosures

Members of the MSK Community often work with pharmaceutical, device, biotechnology, and life sciences companies, and other organizations outside of MSK, to find safe and effective cancer treatments, to improve patient care, and to educate the health care community. These activities outside of MSK further our mission, provide productive collaborations, and promote the practical application of scientific discoveries.

MSK requires doctors, faculty members, and leaders to report (“disclose”) the relationships and financial interests they have with external entities. As a commitment to transparency with our community, we make that information available to the public. Not all disclosed interests and relationships present conflicts of interest. MSK reviews all disclosed interests and relationships to assess whether a conflict of interest exists and whether formal COI management is needed.
