Christopher Jackson, MD
We post reviews for MSK healthcare providers who have at least 30 patient experience surveys completed. If you do not see reviews for a provider, it may be because they do not yet have enough survey responses, or the provider may not be part of the group of healthcare providers included in the survey.
Only outpatient providers are included in the survey. Healthcare providers who only work in the hospital or in urgent care are not included in the survey. Pathologists or researchers who do not provide direct care to patients do not have reviews.

Get to Know Me
I am a radiation oncologist who has special training in using radiation therapy to treat cancer. I treat children and adolescents with sarcoma, brain and spinal tumors, neuroblastoma, lymphoma, leukemia, and Wilms’ tumor.
I also see adults who have been diagnosed with brain tumors, brain metastases, spine tumors, and spinal metastases. I am experienced in the use of the latest radiation therapies and techniques. This includes proton therapy, intensity-modulated radiation therapy, intra-operative radiation therapy, stereotactic body radiation therapy, and stereotactic radiosurgery.
At Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK), I see patients at Memorial Hospital, MSK’s main hospital, and the New York Proton Center in New York City.
I am honored to be a part of a world-class team of experts working to make cancer treatment more effective for patients. Our team always aims to deliver the best treatment results while reducing side effects in every possible way.
I chose to become a doctor because of my own personal experience. When I was 14 years old, I was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia, a form of blood cancer. I was treated with chemotherapy for more than three years. My experience, and the relationships I had with my cancer care team, shaped my desire to become an oncologist.
I have a deep, heartfelt goal to provide excellent care for my patients and their families, just like the care I received many years ago. I am acutely aware of the physical and emotional toll of cancer treatment, and I have many years of experience pursuing research in making cancer treatments more effective while reducing side effects.
When patients come to see me, they are often concerned about how their diagnosis and treatment will affect their life. As a cancer survivor, I take the time to understand who my patients are—their goals, desires, and interests. I do my best to draw on my own previous experience and use my medical knowledge so I can address their concerns.
During medical school and residency at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK), I conducted clinical research related to pediatric and adult brain tumors and spine metastases. I looked into ways to achieve the most benefit of cancer treatment while reducing side effects. My work resulted in first-author publications and awards for abstracts at annual meetings, but more importantly, it has resulted in meaningful clinical changes for patient care.
Outside of work, I am an avid marathon runner. Running is not only a hobby but also a meditative activity that connects me to the obstacles I faced years ago during my cancer diagnosis. I enjoy spending time in Central Park with my wife and our dog, Rivers. I place great value on time with loved ones and bring that perspective with me into the clinic when seeing patients.
I'm a radiation oncologist, which is a cancer doctor with special training in using radiation therapy (RT) to treat cancer.
