Get to Know Me

I am a board-certified hematologist with special training in using stem cell transplantation and cellular therapy to treat blood cancers such as lymphoma, leukemia, and multiple myeloma. Stem cell transplants are a type of treatment in which new stem cells replace unhealthy cells in the blood.

I work as part of a team of experts in transplantation and cellular therapy who treat people with these blood cancers. I treat not just the disease, but also the person. Our patients benefit from a team of many experts from different specialties. This includes physicians, nurses, advanced practice providers, pharmacists, social workers, and other staff. I see patients at the David H. Koch Center for Cancer Care at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) and at Memorial Hospital in New York City, and at MSK Nassau on Long Island. 

My research includes developing new approaches for transplantation and cellular therapy to improve treatment results for people with lymphoma and leukemia. 

Before returning to MSK, I served as director of the Blood and Marrow Transplant Program at Cleveland Clinic. I currently serve Medical Director of the Regional Network for MSK’s Division of Hematologic Malignancies. In this role, I aim to extend our transplant and cellular therapy services to MSK’s regional network in collaboration with MSK’s Care Partners.
