Get to Know Me

I am a medical oncologist who cares for people with genitourinary cancer, including bladder, prostate, kidney, and testicular cancers. I have been caring for patients at MSK Basking Ridge for more than a decade.

This provider is part of a team that was ranked #1 in the nation for Urology Cancer Care this year by U.S. News & World Report.

I am also Vice Chair of the Department of Medicine. I work closely with my colleagues in Manhattan and throughout MSK’s regional care network. Together, we ensure that the care we provide meets the highest standards. Our goal is to offer state-of-the-art, compassionate care to all MSK patients.

I was exposed to cancer care at a young age by my mother, who was an oncologist in China. I was inspired to specialize in oncology because I wanted to help the people I saw suffering from cancer. Armed with an improved understanding of cancer biology and genetics, and an arsenal of advanced treatments and clinical trials, I am now able to offer hope to patients and their families who fear an uncertain future. I want them to know that I care about them and will accompany them through this difficulty journey.

Many cancers are now treated primarily with combined approaches. This can include radiation and surgery, along with chemotherapy, hormone therapy, and immunotherapy. We have a very strong team of surgeons and radiation oncologists at MSK Basking Ridge. I collaborate with these experts to provide patients with leading-edge, individualized treatments. These may include genetic testing and biological, targeted, and monoclonal antibody therapies.

We offer an increasing number of clinical trials and other services at MSK Basking Ridge. These include supportive care, social work, nutrition counseling, pain management, lymphedema and physical therapy, and acupuncture. We provide comprehensive cancer care in a friendly environment to people who want MSK’s superior care close to home.

I am fluent in both Mandarin and Cantonese, in addition to English. Outside of work I enjoy photography, golfing, and spending time with my family.
