Get to Know Me
I am a board-certified medical oncologist who cares for people with genitourinary cancer. This includes:
I see patients at Memorial Sloan Kettering (MSK) Monmouth in New Jersey. At MSK, I work closely with a multidisciplinary team of surgeons, radiation oncologists, pathologists, and interventional radiologists to provide comprehensive, compassionate, and personalized care for people.
A cancer diagnosis can have a profound impact on a person’s life. My father, uncle, and grandfather were all diagnosed with prostate cancer. Both my father and grandfather passed away from advanced cancer. These experiences motivated me to dedicate my life to fighting cancer.
I began my journey at MSK as a research assistant in the genitourinary oncology division at MSK. During this time, I witnessed several new drug approvals for prostate cancer. These advancements drastically changed the standards of care and were made possible by the MSK genitourinary team.
I am honored to return to MSK as a genitourinary medical oncologist. My goal is to make the latest treatments available to patients while minimizing side effects. I also tailor treatment with each person’s goals and values.
Besides working as a clinician, I am also a clinical researcher who investigates new treatments for people with prostate cancer. I design and develop clinical trials so we can offer new and more effective treatments to patients, especially for advanced prostate cancer.
Outside of work, I enjoy cooking, exploring new places in New York City, and spending time with my partner, family, friends, and my cat Layla.
I'm a genitourinary (GU) medical oncologist, which is a cancer doctor who specializes in genitourinary (jeh-nih-toh-YOOR-ih-nayr-ee) cancers. This includes bladder, kidney, penis, prostate, and testicular cancers.
