Get to Know Me

I’m a medical oncologist who has special training in the care of people diagnosed with bone cancer and soft tissue sarcomas. This includes rare and aggressive subtypes such as dedifferentiated liposarcoma and leiomyosarcoma.

These cancers can be especially complex, and my focus is on providing care that is informed by the latest data and research, and which is tailored to each person’s needs.

At Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK), I work closely with a team of different experts. This includes surgeons, radiation oncologists, pathologists, nurses, and research scientists who are deeply experienced in sarcoma. Together, we are committed to offering comprehensive care and exploring new treatment options through clinical trials and scientific discovery.

I see patients at Memorial Sloan Kettering Bergen in New Jersey and the Rockefeller Outpatient Pavilion in New York City.

My research is driven by the challenges I see in the clinic. I lead clinical trials aimed at improving therapies for people with different types of sarcomas, including dedifferentiated liposarcoma – a rare and aggressive type of sarcoma that develops in the fat tissue.

I’m also involved in research to better understand the role of immunotherapy in treating sarcomas. I’m exploring how we can improve the effectiveness of immunotherapy by studying the tumor’s genetic and immune environment.

It’s a privilege to care for people with sarcoma. My goal is to make sure every patient receives thoughtful, personal treatment backed by the strength of MSK’s research and clinical expertise.

What I Do at MSK

I'm a sarcoma medical oncologist, which is a cancer doctor who specializes in sarcoma. This includes soft tissue sarcomas (such as Ewing sarcoma and rhabdomyosarcoma) and benign (not cancer) growths that are like sarcoma.
