Get to Know Me

As a medical oncologist on the Genitourinary (GU) Oncology Service at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK), I care for people with bladder, prostate, kidney, and testicular cancer (germ-cell tumors) on the inpatient service at Memorial Hospital. I place a strong emphasis on listening closely to each patient’s concerns, explaining complex options in plain language, and partnering with a multidisciplinary team to craft treatment plans that align with individual goals and circumstances.

This provider is part of a team that was ranked #1 in the nation for Urology Cancer Care this year by U.S. News & World Report.

In the laboratory, I use computer-based tools to determine how certain types of GU cancers work at the molecular level. I study detailed data from individual cells and tissue samples to better understand what causes these cancers and how they behave. My ultimate goal is to use this knowledge to help develop new treatments that lead to better results for people diagnosed with GU cancer.

Outside the clinic and lab, I enjoy distance running, experimenting in the kitchen, and spending time with my wife and children.

Disclosures

Members of the MSK Community often work with pharmaceutical, device, biotechnology, and life sciences companies, and other organizations outside of MSK, to find safe and effective cancer treatments, to improve patient care, and to educate the health care community. These activities outside of MSK further our mission, provide productive collaborations, and promote the practical application of scientific discoveries.

MSK requires doctors, faculty members, and leaders to report (“disclose”) the relationships and financial interests they have with external entities. As a commitment to transparency with our community, we make that information available to the public. Not all disclosed interests and relationships present conflicts of interest. MSK reviews all disclosed interests and relationships to assess whether a conflict of interest exists and whether formal COI management is needed.
