Get to Know Me

I am a medical oncologist who specializes in treating people with lung cancer. I chose to become a doctor because I wish to provide hope for people during a difficult time in their lives.

I take care of patients who are hospitalized due to complications from cancer. My goal is to work together with the entire medical team, including the patient’s primary oncologist, nurses, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants, to provide the best treatment so the patient can get better and return home.  

As a physician-scientist, my goal is to study targeted therapies in the laboratory that can then lead to clinical trials that provide better or newer treatment options for our patients. 

What I Do at MSK

I'm a thoracic medical oncologist, which is a cancer doctor who specializes in thoracic (thor-A-sik) cancers. These are cancers that have to do with the chest, including lung, tracheal (windpipe), and thymic (thymus) cancers.
