Get to Know Me

I am a neurosurgeon who specializes in treating tumors of the brain and spine, as well as tumors that have spread, or metastasized, to the brain and spine from other parts of the body.

My training at leading centers in the United States and France has given me a global perspective on surgical treatment of neurological cancers, allowing me to offer patients a comprehensive and innovative approach to care. I am passionate about delivering the latest neurosurgical treatments while also advancing the field through pioneering work on intraoperative artificial intelligence (AI) applications. I am committed to expanding our capabilities in machine-learning applications in surgery, with the aim of providing the most cutting-edge and effective treatments for my patients. By combining advanced technology with compassionate care, I aim to achieve the best outcomes and enhance the quality of life for each person I treat.

I strongly believe in transparent and thorough communication with patients. I am dedicated to helping patients understand their diagnosis so that they have complete knowledge and oversight of their health and care journey. I am also committed to understanding each patient’s unique situation, including their concerns and expectations. This holistic approach acknowledges that our care extends far beyond just the surgical procedure.

At Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, one of the most rewarding aspects of cancer care is our multidisciplinary approach. Together with my colleagues and the patient, we navigate the care journey as a team, ensuring comprehensive and personalized treatment at every step.

Beyond my professional life, I find joy and balance in spending quality time with my wife and children. I have a passion for skiing, music, and playing the violin.
