Get to Know Me
I am a genitourinary medical oncologist with specialized training in cancers that affect the urinary tract and reproductive organs. I focus particularly on diagnosing and treating prostate cancer. I see patients at the Sidney Kimmel Center for Prostate and Urologic Cancer at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) in New York City.
I became a physician-scientist to explore complex biological questions and to help people during one of the most challenging times in their lives. It is an honor and a privilege to offer support, guidance, and hope as they navigate their cancer diagnosis and treatment.
Every person is unique, and I will tailor your treatment plan based on the latest data. I believe in clear communication and will ensure you fully understand your options so you can make informed decisions based on your goals and values.
When you come to see me, you can expect to be heard. I take the time to listen carefully and address all your concerns. My goal is to create a space where you feel respected, informed, and supported every step of the way.
My research focuses on developing improved radiotheranostic agents for prostate, lung, and neuroendocrine cancers. Radiotheranostics combines molecular imaging with targeted radionuclide therapy—a treatment that uses radioactive substances to seek out and destroy cancer cells. These cancers can sometimes evolve—such as when prostate cancer transforms into a neuroendocrine form—and my research will create better tools for diagnosing and treating these challenging cases. Ultimately, the goal is to detect and treat cancer more accurately while reducing harm to healthy tissue.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, classical music, and attending performances at the opera and the New York Philharmonic. I also like to stay active by playing tennis and chess.
I'm a genitourinary (GU) medical oncologist, which is a cancer doctor who specializes in genitourinary (jeh-nih-toh-YOOR-ih-nayr-ee) cancers. This includes bladder, kidney, penis, prostate, and testicular cancers.
