Get to Know Me

I am a hospitalist caring for people with all types of cancer who have been admitted to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. As a hospitalist, I care for people with medical conditions that may be related to cancer and its treatment, as well as other acute medical problems, such as:

When patients are admitted to the hospital, the hospital medicine team works with each patient’s primary oncologist to create a collaborative medical plan. I strive to support my patients in their time of greatest need by providing compassionate, safe, and patient-centered care.

My responsibilities also include supervising and teaching resident physicians and providing clinical support to nurse practitioners and physician assistants. In addition to clinical work, I have an extensive background in improving health system performance to support more accessible, patient-centered, and equitable care. I have counseled leadership teams of national and global health organizations to transform care and advocate for patients’ needs.

In my spare time, I enjoy yoga, dancing, and spending time with my family, friends, and dog.

Disclosures

Members of the MSK Community often work with pharmaceutical, device, biotechnology, and life sciences companies, and other organizations outside of MSK, to find safe and effective cancer treatments, to improve patient care, and to educate the health care community. These activities outside of MSK further our mission, provide productive collaborations, and promote the practical application of scientific discoveries.

MSK requires doctors, faculty members, and leaders to report (“disclose”) the relationships and financial interests they have with external entities. As a commitment to transparency with our community, we make that information available to the public. Not all disclosed interests and relationships present conflicts of interest. MSK reviews all disclosed interests and relationships to assess whether a conflict of interest exists and whether formal COI management is needed.
