Get to Know Me

I am a medical oncologist who specializes in treating bone and soft tissue sarcomas. These are rare cancers and like our patients, no two are exactly alike. That’s why I work with surgeons, radiation oncologists, nurses, and social workers to provide a personalized plan for each person we care for.

My research interest is focused on developing new therapies for soft tissue sarcomas that do not respond to existing treatments. I have a specific interest in studying and developing clinical trials for leiomyosarcoma. These tumors have different genetic variations, and my research interest is in using various tools to identify and develop new drug targets and biomarkers.

A cancer diagnosis is a life changing event. By building a strong connection with my patients and their loved ones and by providing the best care for their situation, I aim to provide them with hope and a sense of control during this time in their lives.

What I Do at MSK

I'm a sarcoma medical oncologist, which is a cancer doctor who specializes in sarcoma. This includes soft tissue sarcomas (such as Ewing sarcoma and rhabdomyosarcoma) and benign (not cancer) growths that are like sarcoma.
