I am a board-certified, fellowship-trained radiologist with experience and expertise in:
- Breast imaging
- Breast interventional procedures
- Body ultrasound, computed tomography (CT), and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)
I strongly believe my role as a radiologist is not only to provide high-quality interpretation that is timely and accurate, but also to provide supportive and compassionate care. Through years of listening to patients and welcoming their feedback, I have grown sensitive to the anxiety and emotional stress that can accompany a patient’s visit for imaging or interventional procedures. So, I make it a priority to create a positive atmosphere for each patient. I treat everyone involved in their care — from staff to technologists to the patient and their family — with respect, understanding, and empathy.
Having majored in psychology in college, I thought I would one day become a psychiatrist. When following that path through medical school, I participated in a combined psychiatry/radiology research project studying functional imaging with MR, where I could observe brain activity in real-time. It was a lifechanging experience; I knew at that moment that my career path would change to radiology. The technological advances in the field are exciting and have played an important role in improving patient care and outcomes.
In 2023, after practicing for 16 years in an outpatient multispecialty medical group in the community in which I live, I decided to return to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK), the amazing institution that helped shape me into the radiologist I am today. I am excited to once again be part of a special place that provides state-of-the-art imaging and world-class care to patients.
When I am not working, you can find me helping my kids with their schoolwork, exercising, cooking with my husband, or playing tennis with my twin sister, who is also a radiologist at MSK!
