Get to Know Me

I am an endocrinologist who specializes in onco-endocrinology, which is the diagnosis and management of endocrine conditions which arise from cancer treatments. The endocrine system is a network of glands and organs that produce hormones to control and coordinate the body’s metabolism, and I treat conditions that affect this system. I work with patients throughout their cancer treatments so that they achieve the best outcomes.

I see patients at Memorial Hospital and the David H. Koch Center for Cancer Care at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and I believe in using a tailored and targeted approach for each patient.

As a clinical researcher and investigator, my work focuses on the short- and long-term effects of cancer therapies on the endocrine system. I also develop protocols and treatment plans through multidisciplinary collaboration so that patients receive the best and care based on modern practices.

As the field of onco-endocrinology is rapidly evolving, it important to share knowledge, scientific and clinical data so that we can improve patient care nationally and worldwide. To this end, I serve as co-chair of the Onco-Endocrinology Special Interest Group of the Endocrine Society and work towards advancing the subspecialty at a national level.

Having been educated and trained in Australia prior to establishing practice in the United States, I also possess a unique perspective on the nuances of different healthcare systems. I am passionate about ensuring that people of all backgrounds can access high-quality care.
