This primarily outpatient elective offers an opportunity for residents to gain experience in the evaluation and management of children with primary pediatric central nervous system tumors. Trainees will work under the direct supervision of a pediatric neuro-oncology attending and participate in pediatric neuro-oncology clinical conferences including tumor board. They will also gain experience in neuroradiology, neuropathology and molecular genetics of pediatric brain tumors. Participating trainees will be evaluated by the Neuro-Oncology Service teaching faculty based on their performance throughout their elective training.

Eligibility
Applicants should be actively enrolled in an ACGME accredited training program. Applicants
must have completed USMLE Steps I, II, and III. Foreign medical graduates with equivalent qualifications are also eligible to apply and must have completed all three of the USMLE examinations, a CSA exam, and hold a valid ECFMG certificate.
