The purpose of this study is to assess the safety and effectiveness of a specialized light treatment for children and adults with chronic graft-versus host disease (GVHD) of the mouth (oral GVHD) that has not improved after standard treatment. GVHD is a complication that can occur after a stem cell or bone marrow transplant. The newly transplanted donor cells attack the transplant recipient's body and cause serious health problems. Oral GVHD can cause mouth inflammation, pain, and sores.

The purpose of this study is to find the highest dose of the investigational drug NVL-655 that can be given safely in people with advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) or other solid tumors that contain a genetic change called an ALK gene fusion. NVL-655 is a type of drug called a tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI), which works by blocking proteins that fuel cancer growth. However, some cancer cells develop resistance to TKI treatment.

The purpose of this study is to find the best dose of the drug selinexor that can be given safely with radiation therapy in young patients newly diagnosed with pediatric diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma (DIPG) or high-grade glioma. Researchers will also determine the effectiveness of combining selinexor with radiation therapy (given for eight weeks) followed by selinexor therapy alone for two years.

Researchers want to see how well selinexor works in people with Wilms' tumor and other solid tumors. The people in this study are children and adults with tumors that depend on a protein called XPO1. XPO1 helps cancer cells grow by getting rid of proteins that can cause those cells to die (tumor suppressor proteins).

In this study, researchers are assessing the safety of the drug lurbinectedin in young people with solid tumors. In the first part, they will find the highest dose of lurbinectedin to use safely in children with solid tumors. If your child joins, this is the part of the study they will be in.

MSK researchers are studying a new CAR T cell therapy to treat acute myeloid leukemia (AML). They want to evaluate its safety and find the best dose of the new treatment. The adults and children in this study have AML that keeps growing even after treatment. The new CAR T cell therapy is called CD371-CAR-IL18.

Sickle cell disease and beta-thalassemia are blood diseases caused by a genetic change (mutation) in hemoglobin, the protein in red blood cells that carries oxygen throughout the body. People with these diseases may be offered a stem cell transplant. Stem cell transplantation involves receiving healthy blood-forming cells (stem cells) from a donor to replace the diseased or damaged cells in the bone marrow.

Researchers want to find the best schedule for giving a new vaccine to people with neuroblastoma. The people in this study have neuroblastoma that is in remission (no signs of cancer). In addition, their cancers have a strong chance of coming back (high risk). The vaccine is given with a naturally occurring substance called beta-glucan.
