Our lab has developed several new intra-arterial therapies for liver and pancreatic cancer, which we are currently testing in a pig tumor model. We are looking for a post-doctoral fellow who can do pig tumor embolization experiments. Projects include: pancreatic chemoinfusion, intra-arterial immunotherapy, and design of new embolic agents for improved tumor targeting and drug delivery. Therapies that are safe and effective in pigs will be translated into human clinical trials.

You should have experience with basic embolization and ablation techniques. Animal research and basic laboratory experience is a plus, but not required. If you are interested in applying, please email your CV and cover letter to Dr. Hooman Yarmohammadi, Director of Research, IR (yarmohah@mskcc.org).
