Fellowships in the MSK Division of Subspecialty Medicine

Memorial Sloan Kettering’s Division of Subspecialty Medicine offers a variety of training opportunities in the form of fellowships in infectious diseases, gastroenterology, pulmonology, and nutrition.

Analgesics, Pain Management, and Palliative Medicine (M-109) 
Medical students in this program will learn how to treat pain and manage common problems in palliative medicine.

Cardiology Service/Cardio-Oncology Clinical Research Fellowship 
The Cardiology Service at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center is offering one- to two-year clinical and research fellowships in cardio-oncology for individuals board-eligible/certified in Internal Medicine or Cardiology.

Infectious Diseases Clinical and Research Training 
This two-three year program provides comprehensive training in infectious diseases to internists in both the clinical and research settings.

Interventional Pulmonology 
This one year program is designed to develop and train interventional pulmonologists in advanced diagnostic and therapeutic bronchoscopy, as well as advanced minimally invasive pleural procedures.

Gastroenterology 
This three-year training program combines an outstanding experience in patient care and education with clinical and basic research opportunities.

Geriatric Medicine 
Medical students in this program learn about the clinical presentations of delirium, dementia, and depression and how to determine the root cause and be able to develop a non-pharmacologic management plan for agitated demented or delirious patients.

Nutrition 
The one-year Nutrition Fellowship Training Program combines an outstanding experience in patient care and education with clinical research opportunities.

Palliative Medicine Fellowship 
This one-year clinical fellowship in palliative medicine is for people who already have completed residency training in one of several areas.

Pain & Palliative Care Nursing Fellowship 
This one-year clinical fellowship is for master’s prepared nurse practitioners who would like to serve as experts in pain management and palliative care.

Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine Fellowship 
The Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine Fellowship Program at Memorial Sloan Kettering is a longstanding, independent three-year ACGME-accredited pulmonary critical care medicine program designed to prepare physicians for careers in clinical pulmonary medicine, including exposure to clinical research.
